City Council Revives 90s Urban Development Plan in Arroyo de la Cruz Area with High-Level Hotel Project

The Local Government Board has today approved the reactivation of a partial plan from the 90s in the Arroyo de la Cruz area, located south of the highway and very close to the La Meridiana area. The plan includes the construction of 232 free housing units and the reservation of over 52,000 square meters for a high-level hotel project. The councilor of Urban Planning, José Eduardo Díaz, announced this during the press conference after the ordinary session of the municipal body, emphasizing that it is a strategic area covering 154,000 square meters. The project will feature a mix of multifamily and single-family homes, with a significant portion allocated for a hotel, aiming to enhance the city’s high-level tourism offerings.
