City Council Renews Collaboration with Marbella Voluntaria to Support Programs for Vulnerable Individuals
The City Council has renewed its collaboration with the Marbella Voluntaria Association by signing the annual collaboration agreement, which is endowed with 41,316 euros and aimed at supporting the various programs developed by this organization in the municipality to care for, accompany, and support people in vulnerable situations. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz, along with the president of the association, María del Carmen Bertomeu, highlighted the significant progress in the commitment and support to an entity like this, which carries out commendable work. The mayor, accompanied by the Councilor for Social Rights, Isabel Cintado, stated that municipal cooperation enables the maintenance of initiatives related to training, awareness, functional diversity, and social support, as well as intergenerational programs that connect older adults and young people.
