City Council Recognizes Women’s Valuable Work for a More Equal Society

The City Council has recognized the valuable work of a group of women in the city and the Children and Adolescents Council in building a more equal society. During an institutional event for International Women’s Day (8M), held at the Adolfo Suárez Convention Center, Mayor Ángeles Muñoz highlighted the municipality’s daily work to promote equality through policies focusing on education, employment, and more. The municipal delegation, led by Isabel Cintado, works tirelessly towards enabling women’s economic independence and combating gender-based violence.
