City Council Improving Pedestrian Safety in Nueva Andalucía
The City Council is carrying out works to provide sidewalks and drainage systems to Cañada de Ganados in order to enhance pedestrian safety in this area of Nueva Andalucía. The project, which is being implemented on the stretch of the street between Prado Avenue and Al-Ándalus Street, is expected to be completed in a month and a half and will also involve the installation of a LED lighting system. Councilor Diego López, accompanied by district councilor Vanessa Ortiz de Zárate, expressed that ‘we aim to provide as much peace of mind as possible to the residents who pass through this street daily, who up until now had to walk on the same road, leading to potential risks, or take a significant detour.’
