Approval of Urban Transformation Project for Swedish Forestry Center to Host Luxury Hotel Complex

The Council has definitively approved the delimitation of the Urban Transformation Action (UTA) in the Swedish Forestry Center area, which will host a luxury hotel complex. The councilor in charge, José Eduardo Díaz, stated that ‘this is a strategic project for the city’ and emphasized that ‘it will allow the regeneration of the PA-NG-1 polygon area by transforming an area consisting of three plots – with a total area of 42,394 square meters – and including disused buildings, the Boho Club establishment, and vacant land.’ Specifically, it is planned to expand the current facilities, with a building capacity ranging from 16,957 to 33,915 square meters of roof, ‘which will reinforce the high-quality tourism offer, incorporate new services, and promote off-season tourism and stable employment throughout the year.’
