Expansion and Transformation of Marbella’s La Bajadilla Port Announced
Marbella’s mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, and the Minister of Development and Mobility, Mario Muñoz-Atanet, have announced the unblocking of the expansion and transformation project of Marbella’s La Bajadilla Port. The new concessionaire will take over the facilities on January 1st with an investment of over 200 million euros. The port will triple its capacity from 268 to 750 berths, allowing for larger vessels. The mayor highlighted the significance of this development for the city, emphasizing the years of administrative and judicial challenges overcome. This initiative is part of the municipal strategy for modernizing marinas, including ongoing projects at other ports in Marbella.
