Marbella City Council Increases Investment in Active Participation Centers Workshops by Over 110%
The Marbella City Council, through the Department of Social Rights, has reported in today’s Local Government Board meeting on the new workshop program that will take place during the 2026/2027 academic year at the ten Active Participation Centers (APCs) in the municipality. The councilor in charge, Isabel Cintado, highlighted that this edition’s main novelty is the significant increase in the budget, which exceeds by over 110% the amount allocated previously, rising from 176,882 euros to the 370,789 euros that will be dedicated this fiscal year. Cintado emphasized, ‘It is a historic financial effort that reflects the priority that our seniors represent for the department and the City Council as a whole.’
