Marbella Achieves Historic Levels of Profitability and Hotel Employment in July
Marbella reached a new record of hotel employment in July with 6,559 workers, marking a 54.3% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The city also saw over 97,000 guests staying in its accommodations, according to the latest Hotel Occupancy Survey (EOH) data. Tourism’s general director, Laura de Arce, highlighted the strength of the destination during peak season, with simultaneous growth in demand, occupancy, profitability, and employment. International market performance was particularly notable, with a 19% increase in foreign guests, setting a historic record. Total overnight stays rose to 343,473, up 5.4% from the previous year.
