Marbella’s Beaches Receive Accessibility Certification
Marbella’s beaches have received a new certification recognizing the city’s efforts to make its coastline more accessible and inclusive. The beaches of Puerto Banús, San Pedro Alcántara, La Bajadilla, and El Faro have been awarded the UNE 170001-2:2007, which verifies the implementation of a management system focused on ensuring that all individuals can enjoy these spaces, as well as their facilities and services, autonomously and safely. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz highlighted that this recognition supports the ongoing commitment to make the beaches ready to meet the diverse needs of residents and visitors, including those with reduced mobility or disabilities.
