Expansion of Video Surveillance Network in San Pedro Alcántara

The City Council has strengthened the video surveillance network in San Pedro Alcántara by installing eight new cameras for traffic control, incident prevention, and support to security tasks. The new cameras are placed in key areas, bringing the total number of cameras in the municipality to 352. The main purpose of these new devices is to enhance traffic monitoring and assist in enforcing municipal regulations, particularly regarding waste disposal. The City Council aims to provide infrastructure to support the daily work of the Local Police, with investments in fiber optics, new networks, and surveillance systems nearing four million euros.
