Street named after Jose Guerra Villalobos for his charitable work and commitment to San Pedro Alcántara

The City Council paid tribute to Jose Guerra Villalobos today by inaugurating a street in recognition of his charitable work and commitment to San Pedro Alcántara. The ceremony, attended by family, friends, institutional representatives, social groups, and numerous residents, was highlighted by Mayor Ángeles Muñoz emphasizing the importance of honoring those who have dedicated much of their lives to helping others. This distinction aims to preserve the memory of a person who has made helping others a way of life for future generations. Mayor Muñoz noted that ‘streets also tell the story of a town and convey the values we want to preserve,’ citing Guerra Villalobos’ work in drug addiction prevention, supporting those affected by HIV, and his continuous willingness to help those in need. She also mentioned his contribution to the town’s economic development through his leadership of Guerra Motor, a company that recently celebrated its 50th anniversary.
