Marbella Allocates Over 100,000 Euros in Grants to Boost Activities of Neighborhood and Civic Associations

The City Council has allocated over 100,000 euros in grants to boost the activities of around fifteen neighborhood and civic associations as part of the competitive grant call. These contributions will support projects aimed at promoting citizen participation and community living in neighborhoods through funding for socio-educational workshops, socially beneficial activities, operational expenses, and inventorial material. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz, who met with the beneficiary entities today, emphasized the municipal commitment to the associative fabric, stating that ‘with this grant line, we want them to continue developing initiatives aimed at different groups in the locality.’ The mayor stressed that this measure ‘ensures that every euro reaches citizens through useful projects for neighborhoods, always with the necessary administrative guarantees for the proper management of public funds.’
