Mayor praises AMUM’s efforts in education by awarding 14 university scholarships to Marbella students
The Mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, highlighted today the commitment to education by the Association of University Women of Marbella (AMUM) during the award ceremony of the 14 scholarships that the organization grants this year to students in the city. With this edition, the program reaches 110 beneficiaries since its inception fifteen years ago, consolidating support for access to education. The Mayor congratulated the organization for the continuity of this project and stated that it ‘reflects AMUM’s dedication to providing opportunities to young women’. She also expressed her appreciation to the president of the group, Graciela Waen, the faculty, and all those involved in this initiative.
