Mayor praises Foundation Cesare Scariolo’s work during charity dinner for oncology patients
The Mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, praised the “great work” of the Foundation Cesare Scariolo during a charity gala dinner held last night to raise funds for the creation of a recreational area for adolescent oncology patients and young adults, as part of an agreement with the Regional University Hospital of Malaga. The Mayor emphasized “the important role played by this entity in the social and healthcare field” and also highlighted that “solidarity is one of the great hallmarks of Marbella.” Regarding the event’s objectives, which brought together more than 200 people at Anantara By The Sea Club Hotel Villa Padierna, she stated that “the treatments are excellent, but it is also essential to take care of the patients’ mood and offer them a more familiar environment where they can play and feel at home, which represents a significant investment in their recovery.”
