Conference on Artist Arturo Vermi at the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Engraving

The Museum of Contemporary Spanish Engraving will host a series of conferences on April 22 and 23 focusing on the artist Arturo Vermi. The event, titled ‘Arturo Vermi and the Poetics of Reduction’, aims to delve into the language of minimalism and analytical abstraction under the coordination of María Jesús Martínez Silvente, a doctor in Art History and Associate Professor at the University of Malaga. This initiative is part of the current exhibition at the cultural venue, titled ‘The Permanence of the Minimum: Arturo Vermi’, marking the first exhibition in Spain dedicated to this pioneering artist of minimalism in Europe.
