Marbella City Hall Launches Updated Website for Holy Week 2026 with Real-time Procession Tracking as Main Feature
Marbella City Hall has launched the updated website for Holy Week 2026, https://semanasanta.marbella.es, with all the information about the brotherhoods and fraternities of the municipality available in five languages (English, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese), and with real-time procession tracking as the main novelty, as the platform incorporates a real-time geolocation system using GPS technology. The Innovation Councillor, Enrique Rodríguez, highlighted that ‘this service will be operational throughout the festivity, including Maundy Thursday, a day when up to four processions coincide simultaneously.’ He also emphasized that ‘it is a consolidated tool that once again positions itself as an informative and touristic reference point for the city during these significant dates.’
