Mayor Emphasizes Development of New Andalucía Complex as Key Facility in Marbella
The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, visited the construction site of the future sports complex in Nueva Andalucía today. The complex, located in the Guadaiza area, will feature an 11-a-side football field and an eight-lane certified athletics track in its first phase. Construction began in late January and is currently around 10% complete. The mayor highlighted the significance of this project for the city, stating that it will be one of Marbella’s most prominent facilities, occupying over 30,000 square meters and providing modern, top-notch facilities to meet a long-standing demand from local clubs and athletes.
