The City Council is set to draft a strategic plan for the next four years to modernize the municipal video surveillance network, which consists of 344 cameras and 30 kilometers of fiber optic cable, with an investment of four million euros. The Councilor for Citizen Security, José Eduardo Díaz, emphasized the importance of coordination between the Local Police and the New Technologies department to advance in this area. The existing infrastructure has reached a consolidation phase, and it is now time to plan for its growth with a future vision.
