Marbella strengthens its social commitment with the delivery of Christmas hampers and aid for the elderly and vulnerable families

The City Council has once again launched a special social support initiative for Christmas, aimed at families with limited resources and elderly people living alone. This initiative includes the distribution of 40 Christmas hampers to isolated elderly individuals and a hundred extraordinary prepaid cards for the most vulnerable families. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz visited the facilities of the DYA Association, responsible for distributing these municipal aids, emphasizing that these initiatives originated during the pandemic to provide additional support to those in need. Five years later, these programs have become established and are highly valued by both the beneficiaries and professionals in the field.
