Town Hall Renews Plaza Pepe Periáñez in San Pedro Alcántara with Sustainable Landscaping Design

The Town Hall is continuing to improve the urban landscape with a new project in Plaza Pepe Periáñez, also known as the Market Square, in San Pedro Alcántara. Deputy Mayor Javier García stated, ‘We are strengthening our commitment to more responsible management of green areas and transforming public spaces for residents to enjoy more pleasant, modern, and environmentally friendly places.’ The project involved planting over 700 units of shrub species adapted to the Mediterranean climate, selected for their low water consumption, chromatic richness, and the diversity of their plant textures, creating an attractive and easily maintainable environment throughout the year.
