Marbella Week of Football Event to Host Top U-19 and U-17 National Teams
The Marbella Week of Football event will bring together the best U-19 and U-17 male and female national teams from around the world from October 8 to 14. The Sports Councillor, Lisandro Vieytes, emphasized that the tournament will once again make the city the epicenter of this discipline, projecting an estimated direct economic impact of 600,000 euros and around 2,700 hotel stays due to the arrival of international delegations, teams, and visitors. This initiative helps break the seasonal tourism pattern and enhances the city’s reputation as a regular host of major sporting events. Vieytes thanked the Marbella Football Center (MFC) for their involvement and collaboration with the City Council through a sponsorship agreement that promotes the Marbella brand in all tournaments held at the venue.
