Municipality Completes Comprehensive Renovation of Juan José Almagro Football Field in San Pedro Alcántara
The municipality has completed the comprehensive renovation of the 11-a-side football field at the Juan José Almagro complex in San Pedro Alcántara, taking another step in the remodeling of sports facilities in the area. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz visited the facility and highlighted its importance as it hosts training sessions for five clubs and over 1,200 children, making these improvements essential to meet the high demand and intensive use. The project, with an investment of nearly 400,000 euros, included replacing the entire turf with high-quality grass over more than 6,500 square meters, upgrading the irrigation system, repainting stands, improving goalposts, and installing new protective areas similar to those at the Serrano Lima field in Marbella.
