City Council to Open Applications for School and University Transport with 700 Available Seats

The City Council will open the application period for school and university transport on August 4, with 700 seats available for the existing 14 routes for both cases (11 and 3 routes, respectively). The municipal spokesperson, Félix Romero, announced after the Local Government Board meeting that municipal fees could lead to savings of up to 3,900 euros for a family of three children, 1,300 euros per child, specifically for transfers to the Málaga campus. Additionally, residents are given the option to maintain their residence in Marbella without having to pay for rent and other expenses. The service fee is 640 euros for one child, 861 euros for two children, and 1,280 euros for three children. There are two pricing options for the fleet serving schools, depending on whether they are in the urban center or on the outskirts.
