Town Hall progresses in the execution of the museographic project for the Sugar Cane Interpretation Center
The Town Hall continues to make progress in the execution of the museographic project for the Sugar Cane Interpretation Center, which will be located in the Trapiche del Prado, following a meeting held in Seville between the mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, and the Minister of Culture, Patricia del Pozo. The meeting addressed the collaboration protocol for the adaptation of this 17th century building, declared a Cultural Interest Asset, as a museum space. The proposal aims to develop a comprehensive exhibition system that allows for the interpretation, preservation, and dissemination of the historical, technological, archaeological, and social value of the historic building, one of the most unique examples of Andalusian pre-industrial sugar heritage, with the advice of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
