Town Hall Enhances Road Safety Improvements and Constructs New Sidewalk in Prado Avenue

The Town Hall has expanded the road safety improvements being carried out on Cañada de Ganados street by constructing a sidewalk on Prado avenue. In addition to creating a pedestrian circuit, a two-meter-wide sidewalk on the north side of the road, four pedestrian crossings, and installing 12 LED streetlights, they are also building another sidewalk about 60 meters long and speed bumps at the entrances to the golf course located next to both streets. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz, during her visit to the site with Councilor Diego López, stated that these improvements are necessary to ensure pedestrian safety and vehicle circulation in the connection between El Ángel and the superblock, two of the most vibrant areas in the Nueva Andalucía district, where residents previously had to walk on the road.
