Town Hall Completes Renovation and Expansion of Pergola at Santa Marta’s Multipurpose Center
The Town Hall has completed the renovation and expansion works of the pergola located in the square where the Santa Marta Multipurpose Active Participation Center is situated on Jeddah Street. The project involved rehabilitating the existing structure, which was deteriorated, and installing a transparent and waterproof polycarbonate cover to replace the old torn awning that did not prevent water from seeping through. The Works Councillor, Diego López, stated that ‘the goal was to make this outdoor space a recreational area for users all year round and to prevent it from being unused during rainy seasons as was the case with the old leaking cover.’
