Solemn Procession of Yacente and Soledad on Good Friday in Marbella
Last night, the procession through Marbella of the Christ Yacente and the Virgin of Soledad was characterized by solemnity on Good Friday. The procession, led by the brotherhoods of Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno, María Santísima del Mayor Dolor y Santo Sepulcro, and Nuestra Señora de la Soledad, was attended by the mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, and gathered numerous residents and visitors in one of the most moving parades of the city’s Holy Week. The Cornet and Drum War Band of the IV Tercio Alejandro Farnesio of the Legion, based in Ronda, took part in an event where Legionnaires also carried the Yacente on their shoulders from the Plaza del Santo Sepulcro to its throne.
