Over Thirty Associations Gather at Marbella Social Fair with Focus on Volunteering
Over thirty associations have come together at the Marbella Social Fair, which this year has placed the spotlight on volunteering as a driver of change, as this edition is framed within the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, highlighted the strength of the city’s associative fabric during her visit to this initiative, held on the Avenida del Mar, stating ‘We can be very proud of the strength of our city’s associative network.’ The mayor, accompanied by the delegate for Social Rights, Isabel Cintado, explained that the objective of this event is ‘to showcase the important work carried out by NGOs and solidarity groups in the city, through various stands displaying the diverse areas in which they operate.’
