Over 2,300 Incidents Attended by Beach Lifeguard Service in Marbella Municipality in First Half of July

The beach surveillance and lifeguard service in Marbella has managed a total of 2,316 incidents between July 1 and July 15, reflecting the high number of beachgoers during peak season. The majority of interventions, 1,183 in total, were related to water rescues and preventive measures such as warnings about jellyfish presence, sea conditions, and unauthorized areas. The most common warnings were issued for yellow flag conditions, followed by red flags and jellyfish sightings. Additionally, 16 water rescues were conducted, with 10 classified as minor and 6 as moderate, with no severe cases reported.
