Municipality Enhances Security and Sustainability of La Ermita Industrial Estate with New LED Lighting System
The municipality is carrying out a comprehensive renovation of public lighting in the La Ermita Industrial Estate by installing 170 state-of-the-art LED luminaires. This action, which provides more uniform, efficient, and reliable lighting, eliminates dark spots, reduces blackouts, and increases visibility, allowing for an annual saving of 23,000 euros. The councilor for Works, Diego López, emphasized that ‘with this intervention, we take an important step to improve the security of the area and generate peace of mind and confidence for entrepreneurs, workers, and residents.’ He also noted that this initiative, along with the recent installation of surveillance cameras, ‘represents a decisive advancement in the modernization of the industrial estates in the municipality, helping to create a safer and more attractive environment for business activity.’
