Municipality Activates Heatwave Prevention Plan Due to Rising Temperatures
The Municipality, through the Department of Social Rights, has activated the ‘Municipal Prevention and Recommendations Plan to Mitigate High Temperatures and Heatwaves’ in anticipation of an increase in temperatures in the coming days and the high thermal risk already being recorded in the city. The initiative aims to minimize the effects, especially among the elderly, who are more vulnerable. To achieve this, the City Council has strengthened information, support, and monitoring actions carried out through various resources.
