Marpoética to transform Marbella into a hub for Spanish poetry
For ten days, from April 9 to 18, Marbella will become one of the meeting points for Spanish poetry with the ninth edition of Marpoética. The event will bring together some of the most relevant voices in contemporary literature and will make the city a place where poetry, thought, and creation converge. This year’s program will focus on Colombian literature with two of its most prominent voices: Piedad Bonnett, in charge of the inauguration, and Héctor Abad Faciolince, who will lead the closing. The event will gather around thirty authors and will include a discussion with Fernando León de Aranoa on the relationship between cinema and literature.
