Marbella to Host Dozens of International Events Between April and August in Collaboration with Foreign Communities
The City Council, through the delegation of Foreign Residents and in collaboration with the Deputy Mayor’s Office of San Pedro de Alcántara, has presented the calendar of international events that will take place in the coming months in the locality. The agenda, organized with various associations of foreign communities, encompasses a diverse range of activities that highlight the cultural diversity and cosmopolitan character of the city. The responsible advisor for the area, Remedios Bocanegra, emphasized that this initiative reflects the cultural richness of Marbella and its status as a space for coexistence among people of multiple nationalities. The municipal official noted that the municipality currently has residents from more than 150 countries and exceeds 62,500 registered residents of foreign origin, representing around a third of the population. In this regard, she stressed the importance of continuing to create spaces for gatherings that showcase traditions and promote integration and social participation.
