Marbella to Celebrate May Crosses with 26 Organized Events

Marbella will celebrate the May Crosses with a total of 26 events organized by neighborhood entities, active people centers, brotherhoods, and fraternities. These events can be visited from the 1st to the 17th at various locations in the municipality. The councilor of Citizen Participation, Enrique Rodríguez, announced this initiative, emphasizing the goal of enhancing this tradition closely linked to Andalusia with the collaboration of different groups, allowing citizens to enjoy a route that will beautify the streets of the town. Additionally, he highlighted the first-ever contest initiated this year to promote the creation of the crosses, with 22 entries already submitted. The award ceremony will take place on May 24 at the Cortijo Miraflores Cultural Center.
