Marbella Takes a Historic Step in Modernizing Beach Services by Regulating Hammock Concessions Along the Coast
The City Council has completed the process of regulating hammock concessions along the municipality’s coastline by awarding the 132 lots after the public tender process. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz, accompanied by councilor Diego López, led the event at the Parque del Mediterráneo and emphasized that this initiative represents a historic step towards modernization and the definitive stability of one of the most emblematic services on our coasts. The mayor highlighted that the municipal goal was to provide legal certainty to professionals who have traditionally worked in this sector.
