Marbella Sets New Historic Employment Record with Over 85,400 Social Security Affiliates in July
Marbella has once again reached a historic high in terms of employment by recording a total of 85,420 individuals affiliated with Social Security in July. This marks an increase of 1,989 contributors compared to the previous month (+2.38 percent) and establishes the best figure in the statistical series since 2003. The data significantly surpasses the records of previous years, with 83,622 affiliations in July 2024 and 83,051 in 2023, positioning the current year as the best in labor terms in the last two decades. On a year-on-year basis, the increase has been 1,798 individuals, reflecting a solid and sustained evolution of the local labor market.
