Marbella Receives Quality and Sustainability Certifications for its Four Tourist Offices
Marbella’s four Tourist Offices (Faro, San Pedro Alcántara, Plaza de los Naranjos, and Puerto Banús) have been awarded the ‘Q’ for Tourist Quality and the ‘S’ for Sustainable Tourism by the Spanish Institute for Quality Tourism and Sustainability (ICTES). The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, highlighted that the city has achieved a national record of 57 ICTES certifications with these new awards for its visitor service network. These recognitions come after successfully passing rigorous external audits, confirming compliance with high standards in professionalism, visitor orientation, digitalization, accessibility, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
