Marbella has reaffirmed its leadership in Andalusia by obtaining ten Blue Flags in 2026 and ranks among the top ten municipalities in Spain. The city has received a total of eight beach awards and two port awards. This recognition, granted by the Association for Environmental Education and Consumer (ADEAC) and the European Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), evaluates criteria such as water quality, safety, accessibility, services, and environmental management, serving as one of the main international indicators of tourist excellence in coastal areas.
