The latest figures for Social Security affiliation in May 2026 show a positive trend in Marbella’s labor market, with a sustained growth in both salaried employment and entrepreneurial activity. The city reached 84,589 contributors last month, marking an increase of 2,758 affiliates compared to April. This 3.37% rise is largely attributed to companies expanding their workforce in preparation for the peak tourist season, a key economic driver for the municipality.
