Marbella Marina Hosts Underwater Cleaning Event for Ecosystem Protection
Marbella’s Virgin del Carmen Marina will host an underwater cleaning event this Saturday, with divers from the Official Center for Underwater Research (COIS) and volunteers from the Marbella Kayak Fishing Club participating to protect the aquatic ecosystem. Professionals will remove accumulated waste from the seabed, such as plastics and metallic debris, which not only degrade the environment but also pose a risk to biodiversity. The initiative aims to enhance environmental quality and promote sustainable maintenance of the facilities.
