Marbella invests over 13 million euros to modernize sports facilities and create new equipment by 2025

The City Council is continuing with an ambitious plan to modernize municipal sports facilities, create new equipment, and ensure a balanced offering in all districts. In 2025, the municipality allocated a total of 13.5 million euros for this purpose, a figure that will increase to 29.2 million in 2026, marking an unprecedented historic investment. Nearly 40 actions were carried out, including major interventions such as the renovation of Salduba pool, replacing the turf of the Serrano Lima football field, the new Las Chapas pool, the construction of the Sergio Scariolo Pavilion, and improvements to the Juan José Almagro field. These developments have significantly enhanced the existing sports network, according to Councillor of Works Diego López.
