Marbella Installs 50 New Artistic Trash Bins in Old Town

The Marbella City Council has installed 50 new decorative trash bins transformed into pieces of urban art by local artists Ana Ortiz and Luna Moreno in the Old Town, an initiative aimed at beautifying one of the main tourist spots in the municipality. This intervention will increase the total number of this urban furniture in the historic center to 75 after the addition of 25 new units. The intervention will take place on emblematic streets such as Marqués de Nájera, Portada, Huerta Chica, Valdés, and San Bernabé square. The Councilor for Cleaning, Diego López, has stated that the project “helps to continue improving the aesthetics of the streets in our historic center, while reinforcing the council’s commitment to enhancing urban heritage.”
