Marbella Football Academy Celebrates Tenth Anniversary with Recognition for Promoting Grassroots Sports

The Sports Councilor, Lisandro Vieytes, emphasized today the ‘essential work of promoting grassroots sports’ carried out by the Marbella Football Academy during the celebration of its tenth anniversary at the Municipal Stadium Antonio Naranjo. Vieytes praised the ‘professional level’ and the ‘deep roots in the city’ of the academy, which fills its five camps with over 500 young athletes each year. He also reaffirmed the municipality’s commitment to the club, referring to it as ‘a driving force for social cohesion and economic dynamism in the area’. Vieytes expressed gratitude to the founder and president, Óscar Calleja, for ‘his dedication to the city and commitment to excellence over the past decade.’
