Marbella Firefighters Rescue Three Belgian Hikers Trapped in a Steep Area of Monchalbán
A full team of Marbella firefighters carried out a complex rescue operation yesterday afternoon in the Monchalbán area, in the municipality of Marbella, to assist three hikers of Belgian nationality aged 50, 50, and 25. The hikers started their route at 11:00 from the Juanar area heading to Istán. During the hike, they got disoriented and tried to descend towards the reservoir, entering a difficult-to-access canyon. Finally, at 6:30 p.m., they notified the 112 emergency center requesting assistance.
