Marbella is going to bolster the sanitary safety of the taxi sector by implementing air purification technology. The Transport Councilor, Enrique Rodríguez, has noted that the City Council supports the agreement between Taxisol and the company Wiwell to install an advanced photocatalysis system in 50 vehicles ‘to ensure a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment for users and professionals of the public service.’ The city continues to establish itself as a leader in innovation applied to urban environmental health. ‘Our municipality’s taxis already proved to be a safe means of transport during the coronavirus pandemic, and this collaboration will make them even safer,’ said the councilor, highlighting that this technology is already part of the municipal project ‘Urban Breath,’ previously implemented in school and urban buses and in public transport shelters.
