Marbella City Council Supports ‘Momento Woman 2025’ Initiative Promoting Women’s Sports
The City Council has backed the ‘Momento Woman 2025’ initiative, a collection of books highlighting the importance of women’s sports. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz supported the presentation of the five ‘solidary and inspiring’ publications, involving a hundred people, emphasizing the commitment of all project promoters and the great work carried out by all the clubs involved. The mayor, accompanied by councilor Lisandro Vieytes, described the project as ‘a gift for Marbella and a mirror society should look into,’ stressing the significance of allowing ‘girls and women to tell their own story’ and of ‘continuing to build a more equal society.’
