Marbella City Council Approves Creation of 26 New Local Police Positions
The Marbella City Council has approved the creation of 26 new positions for the Local Police in today’s Local Government Board meeting. This measure aims to further strengthen the municipal staff and enhance the response capacity of the security force. These new positions complement the 25 officers currently undergoing training. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz made the announcement during the celebration of the Patron Saints of the Police Force, Archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, emphasizing the municipal commitment through the increase in staff, introduction of resources, vehicles, and technological tools like video surveillance and drones.
