Marbella Beach Lifeguard Service Conducts 5,834 Interventions in August
The Marbella City Council has highlighted the work carried out by the lifeguard service during the month of August, during which a total of 5,834 interventions were recorded on the municipality’s beaches. The report reflects the significant preventive efforts deployed during one of the months with the highest influx of beachgoers, as emphasized by Beach Councillor Diego López. The councilor stated, ‘These data demonstrate the intensity of the daily work carried out by the team and, particularly, the importance of anticipating risk situations.’ He also emphasized that ‘continuous surveillance, providing information to swimmers, and coordination among different services are essential to ensure safety on our beaches.’
