Local Police and Firefighters Respond to a Hundred Interventions During Blackout, City Hall Applauds Citizens’ Exemplary Behavior in Crisis

The Local Police and Firefighters have carried out a hundred interventions during the blackout experienced yesterday in Marbella, across the Iberian Peninsula and southern France. The City Council continues to maintain the Emergency Plan in the face of any potential incidents. The Councilor for Security, José Eduardo Díaz, explained after the Local Government Board meeting held today in San Pedro Alcántara, that municipal services primarily intervened in managing traffic, rescuing individuals, supplying energy to healthcare and social centers, and ensuring communications.
