Local Government Recognizes Participation of Nearly 2,500 Schoolchildren in City’s Local Sports Leagues
The City Council has acknowledged the participation of nearly 2,500 students from different educational centers in the city. The mayor highlighted during the awards ceremony for soccer and frontenis, held yesterday at the José Pernía Calderón Auditorium in Constitution Park, ‘the municipal commitment to grassroots sports and values education’. Muñoz, accompanied by the councilor for sports, Lisandro Vieytes, especially thanked the schools and sports clubs in the municipality ‘for promoting sports practice among the youngest’ and emphasized that Marbella ‘is a wonderful city where sports is one of its main attractions’.
